Playa Bowls, a New Jersey-based acai bowl franchise, has opened in Pleasantville, with another one set for Bronxville.
The shop, with a surfer facade and counter seating, specializes in fruity foundations that are topped with a host of options such as chocolate, pineapple, granola, honey and almond butter. The company's motto? #GoBowlDeep.
Smoothies, protein shakes and oatmeal bowls are also part of the mix.
The Pleasantville location, which opened Tuesday, Dec. 19, is at 465 Bedford Rd. Bronxville -- set to open in the next two to three months -- is at 15 Park Place.
Both are Playa's first entry into Westchester.
